Art meets porcelain. The Viennese artist Ernst Friedrich spent over six months at the Walküre porcelain factory. He familiarized himself with the material "porcelain" by studying the daily working routine and was inspired by it. In numerous attempts the artist treated the porcelain in various stages of production.
Due to deformation and surface processing he developed new techniques for modifying the material. His "artistic period" at porcelain factory Walküre is expressed in his Malzeit. The result of his artistry in Bayreuth is the new pattern Malzeit.
